Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Laurie McCormack graduated in physiotherapy in 1988, and completed his Master’s degree at Melbourne University in 2000. He has completed formal training in task analysis, pre-employment functional assessments and functional capacity evaluation.
Laurie has had over 20 years’ experience as a clinical physiotherapist in assessing, diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and since 1991 has worked extensively with the treatment and management of workplace injuries.
Laurie has been involved as a project physiotherapist with recent research studies at Melbourne University.
He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and of special interest groups Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, Sports Physiotherapy Australia, and Occupational Health Physiotherapy Australia.
Since 1997 he has researched, developed and provided customised pre-employment functional assessments for:
